He did it again!! Multi BISS - Khan!

Khan takes the show at the GSPCWA Winter Specialty - AGAIN!. :) Erin Winton was his handler and again, this is her first time with Khan. Remember she handled Stormy for the Oregon Specialty and won on their first time out together. LOL. This is absolutley great! I handled Stormy in this recent Specialty and we received an Award of Merit which means we were seriously considered for the win as well. :) The judge was so much fun! We ran around, and around, and around, and around and around again and so many different orders and ultimately took AOM and BISS!! Great day!!

BISS CH West Star's Perfect Storm JH

Yup, new winner of the GSP Club of Oregon Specialty show. :) Great day!!

JH titled pups!!

SO FUN! We did the double double with the GSP Club of WA and Brittany Club and finished the JH title for both pups!! They did awesome. Khan is easy to work with and Stormy covers a lot of ground. I'm so happy to have done it. We even camped at the site and it rained the whole first night! We stayed dry and did well in the chaos. I highly recommend going through training and doing it!!

Both Stormy and Khan passed their JH test last weekend!
I had a great time. Exhausting but a really great time. Met some very nice people and heard some spectacular stories. Got some training in and the pups are doing really well. It's hard to get them back from a chase but eventually, when they can't get the bird, they come running back ready to hunt for more. It's really a lot of fun.

Khan wins BOB in Seattle and Bremerton, WA!

That pretty much says it all. :) It was fun to beat his half brother who is actually the #8 GSP in the country right now. Two weeks ago he managed to win over the #2 GSP in the country. :) Both very nice dogs! He's doing so well that it breaks my heart not showing him at every show but I have to hold back. I have to get priorities in order and I'd like him to mature as well. I'd like to Special him when he's 3 yrs old. Hopefully he will do well at that time also.
I plan on showing Khan and Stormy at Specialties and some of the local shows to keep them exposed to showing and the public. I love showing my dogs to everyone.

Khan wins Sweeps!

Khan took first place in his class of 5. Then Stormy took first place in her class of 3. Then Khan ultimately took Best Puppy in Sweeps on Wednesday at the Specialty, January 20th, 2010. :) GOOD JOB US!! Raven handled Khan in the final round while I stayed with Stormy. :) YAY! We did great!

New Adventures

So, both pups are CH. Now we want the JH title and work on a Canadian CH. I am considering the obedience, agility and rally stuff too but there's a lot on my plate right now. We are moving end of May which is stressful enough in itself. I'm torn between living close to the city vs out in the country. Nationals is also in May and I'm planning on going but leaving the pups behind. It is very expensive and a lot of work for me to fly with them or even drive them across the country. I think I'll sit this one out but be there to watch and learn about all the dogs in Nationals. I'd like to take lots of pictures. :)
