Evening of 58th day.

She's not as big as I was expecting by this point but I'm new to this so maybe she's looking just fine.  I just remember her mom when I saw her the day before the litter was born and she was like a big bellied, uncomfy, overstretched goat.  I was uncomfortable for her.
Stormy is big but not that big.  They did spend the whole week together so maybe the babes are due a tad later?  Or maybe there aren't as many as 9 pups?  We have xrays scheduled on Thursday which would be the 60th day from the first mating.  We will have a better idea on the little pups inside.  Hoping for many beautiful babies.  :)

Just slowly getting bigger.

I added her nicely stacked photo for comparison.  It's been a while since I've tried to stack Stormy or Khan.  I brought out my old show bag and saw all the nice leads I had custom made.  Memories... I forgot how hard it was to stack.  I still can't do it very well but no matter.  I'll keep working on it.  ;)  Thank goodness judges can see how nice they are.  She's got about 2 - 3 weeks more to go, before pups are due, around June 1st or so.

Upcoming PUPPIES!!

It has definitely been a while since I've done any posts.  They've changed Blogger a bit.. I'll have to re-learn how this is done.  lol.  The pups and I have been on a long hiatus, with me focusing on school and them just enjoying an everyday dog's life.  We all miss the show ring.

Stormy was bred to VJK-MYST's Beckham beginning of April.  Pups, if the mating took.. which it's starting to look like it did, will be due early June.   Both parents are CHIC Certified with excellent Hips.  This is a stunning pedigree breeding.  Many breeders are excited to see their babies.  We are expecting many show quality pups in this litter and will be nominated for GSPCA 2015 Futurity.

He did it again!! Multi BISS - Khan!

Khan takes the show at the GSPCWA Winter Specialty - AGAIN!. :) Erin Winton was his handler and again, this is her first time with Khan. Remember she handled Stormy for the Oregon Specialty and won on their first time out together. LOL. This is absolutley great! I handled Stormy in this recent Specialty and we received an Award of Merit which means we were seriously considered for the win as well. :) The judge was so much fun! We ran around, and around, and around, and around and around again and so many different orders and ultimately took AOM and BISS!! Great day!!

Yup, new winner of the GSP Club of Oregon Specialty show. :) Great day!!

JH titled pups!!

SO FUN! We did the double double with the GSP Club of WA and Brittany Club and finished the JH title for both pups!! They did awesome. Khan is easy to work with and Stormy covers a lot of ground. I'm so happy to have done it. We even camped at the site and it rained the whole first night! We stayed dry and did well in the chaos. I highly recommend going through training and doing it!!
